We are considering building upon our new logging engine by allowing users to enter the actual fuel remaining (in any tank) at any stage during the flight. This will be primarily targeted at our corporate users and will probably only appear for those users.

I seem to recall you‌‌ use SkyDemon commercially so please feel free to contact your corporate licensing person here to discuss the feature further.

Logging Notes, in v3.9.1 is a good step in the right direction, but I feel its not quite there yet.

‌It would be nice to be able to log "Leg" specific notes as above.

Two ways this could be done‌:
‌
1) under Logging, you choose a new option called "Leg Note", choose the Leg where you want to see the note eventually added, and it appears in the PLOG and the Debriefing Pack.

‌2) [PREFERRED] While flying, go to PLOG, tap on the leg, and input your note in the popup box. Then this "leg" note would appear on the PLOG under a "Note" column in the Debriefing Pack. This "leg" note could be used for logging actual fuel remaining, allowing comparison between planned vs actual.

It doesn't even have to be a fuel column, it could be a custom user column that a user can adapt to their own needs.

Hi, many commercial operations are eager to use the plog provided by SD during the enroute phase of flight (and not just the planning stage). Unfortunately, there are some fields still missing. I like that the plog updates ETA/ATA automatically, which is good.

‌‌I would like to see an additional column for allowing the user to manually input their actual fuel state on reaching each waypoint (i.e. each sector), therefore allowing the pilot to compare against the planned fuel remaining. Ideally, present the user with just a numeric keypad as opposed to a full keyboard to save unnecessary key presses (as iOS likes to present a QUERTY keyboard by default and you have to a press another button to display numbers). This could also be toggled off for those who may not want to see an extra column on their plog. Then, on completion of the flight, the plog can be saved, shared, printed etc with all the captured input (be it automatic or manual data).
